The XXX on moonshine jugs is a classic symbol, but, do you know why it has a "XXX" written on it?
Moonshiners scrawl that on the "X"'s on their jugs to distinghish how many times the batch had been run through the still. A jug with three X's would indicated that the moonshine batch had been run through the shine three times and that the batch was pure alcohol.
